What we do
- We provide experienced court reporters who provide verbatim transcripts for criminal and civil depositions, sworn/unsworn statements, examinations under oath, hearings, trials, board meetings, and arbitrations.
- We service Sarasota, Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, Cape Coral, and Fort Myers.
- We confirm all assignments on our calendar with our clients the day prior to the event.
- Interpreters and videographers upon request
- We provide conveniently located conference rooms.

Shelly Flaherty is from Manchester, Connecticut and has made Cape Coral, Florida her permanent residence.
Shelly started her career in court reporting 20 years ago in the juvenile criminal court system before spending 14 years in the felony trial divisions of the Eleventh, Seventeenth and Twentieth Judicial Courts, respectively, of which three of those years were dedicated to reporting solely for patricide and matricide cases.
In 2010 Shelly joined what she refers to as “a magnificent group” of independent freelancers Shelly has come to know within the neighboring counties. Shelly became a familiar face in the foreclosure “rocket docket” sector before opening L’Wren Court Reporting, LLC in March of 2014.
On her personal time, Shelly steps her soles into a completely different arena by designing her own shoes as a “necessary creative outlet”. An avid music lover, she is a devout fan of Peter Gabriel’s Secret World Playlist featuring Tony Levin, David Rhodes, and Manu Katche.
